Holistic Therapy

Holistic therapy is a generic term for any treatment / therapy session that is intended to treat the individual as a whole on all levels - mind, body and spirit. Most complementary or alternative therapies could be regarded as holistic.

A holistic approach to healing recognizes that the emotional, mental, spiritual and physical elements of each person comprise a system. By working with this systems approach, the cause of an illness is targeted, rather than just the symptoms.

Aromatherapy massage is a gentle healing art, which incorporates the systemic use of natural essential oils to promote health and wellbeing without any side effects. It is a caring, hands-on therapy which seeks to induce relaxation, increase energy, and to reduce the effects of stress to restore lost balance to mind, body and soul.

Aromatherapy is a natural, non-invasive therapy designed to treat the whole person not just the symptom, and to assist the body's natural ability to balance, regulate, heal and maintain itself by the correct use of essential oils. The oils are chosen and blended especially to meet your needs.

Reflexology is a holistic treatment, which works on the feet to aid healing to the whole person not just the prevailing symptoms. This gentle therapy encourages and stimulates the body to work naturally to restore its own healthy balance. In the practice of Reflexology, nerve endings in the feet are stimulated; thereby helps promote relaxation, improve circulation, stimulate vital organs in the body and encourage the body's natural healing processes. Unlike conventional medicine, reflexology works on the underlying problems within the body and works through the body's nervous system. Reflexology involves massaging the feet to treat and heal an individual's entire body and is used to restore the body's natural balance, release blocked energy and remove harmful toxins within the body. Reflexology is a popular alternative therapy. It promotes relaxation, improves circulation, reduces pain, soothes tired feet, and encourages overall healing.
